Christian Social Justice Keyboard Warriors

Hi friends!

I've created this space as a way for me to be able to anonymously share my opinions and process my own thoughts. My opinions and thoughts are not mainstream and are in general conservative.

In today's world, these kinds of opinions and thoughts are rejected and not allowed to be shared personally. People are quite literally trying to silence and shame conservative voices.

I think this is a dangerous and sad.

Not only do I need a space to be able to share my views--because yes, they are valid, even if you don't like them--but what kind of a world is a world that is censored and only speaks one message?

If you can relate to these feelings, then you're in the right spot. Keep reading.

If you read this in disgust, then feel free to move along.

Still reading?

Ok... So here's the thing. I'm a Christian. And not just a 'I say I love Jesus and go to church sometimes Christian.' I study my Bible every single day. I walk with Jesus personally and actively pursue spiritual growth. I regularly examine my heart and repent.

So, when my other "Christian" friends, who depend on their Christian foundation but have no active walk with Jesus, condemn my opinions as less virtuous and not as "Christ-like" as theirs, it's really hard for me to take them seriously.

And the judgment from these "Christian" "friends" is unbelievable.

Most recently, I've had family members (on both sides) call me a racist. Let me assure you, I am not a racist. But, I'll save the continuation of this conversation for another blog post.

In the meantime, I'll wrap up this post by saying that I am angry, sad, and hurt by the way people are treating each other--especially "in the name of Jesus."

The white Christian social justice keyboard warriors need to slow their roll and consider how they are treating their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I don't think God is being honored, and our non-Christian friends are watching.
